The Stitch Up – Ogle at These Incredible October Makes!

above A JOYFUL BOWEN DRESS TOP BY @LA_FRANDALOUSE

October is supposed to be the spooky season yet your latest crop of lovely makes is giving us all treats and no tricks! You ghoulish guys, gals and non-binary Peppermint pals are nigh on supernaturally talented with your sewing prowess.

To show off some of our faves, we’ve put together a roundup of some of our most favourite makes we’ve seen from our fantabulous friends this October.  If you want to show off your sensational sewing be sure to tag us in your posts and you might see yourself in The Stitch Up in months to come!

CUT THE CHECK

We’re mixing it up this time and celebrating checks with fun colour combinations, like this sweet pastel plaid Peppermint Wrap Top from @OlivesAndRoses or  @ADarkerHue.Art’s  fabulous Peppermint Wrap Skirt.

WE NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE

The Peppermint Wide Leg Pants are a tried and tested classic. Serving monochromatic masterpieces this month is @By_Emily_Christine’s panoply of pink or @ByKylieShea’s cherry red set, which she wore to a Harry Styles concert (!).

POCKET AND LOCK IT

We’re feeling some more autumnal October vibes from these Peppermint Pocket Skirt makes. We heart @Addicted_To_Sewing ‘s grown-up polka dots and absolutely adore the incredibly cool @_Janet_Loves_’s cosy corduroy number.

YOU’RE THE TOPS

Some sensational shirts are on show too including terrific teacher @MadeBy_Francesca’s terrazzo Peppermint Peplum Top and @BiancaSaitta‘s cropped Peppermint Paddington Top made from some breathtaking ivory embroidered mirror silk.

GO WEST

We’re beyond chuffed to spy a lad sporting a Peppermint West End Jacket of his own. @HannaHemson’s make for her special fella is a tasty ginger snap in this gorgeous vintage blanket rework, and @Nerada.Mode.Sewing’s daughter is rocking a delicious rock-and-roll take with some colourful pockets and that statement back!

FANCY DRESS

A splashy print can take a simple dress to an everyday showstopper! Check out @So_Doc_Sews’s tantalising teal Nerida Hansen print Peppermint Wide Strap Maxi Dress or  @Hems.Pathetic‘s enticingly orange, elasticated Peppermint Bardon Dress
