Here at Peppermint, we’re passionate about all things craft, creativity and community, which is why we’ve invested so much into our gorgeous free sewing patterns over the years!

We’d love to keep these patterns accessible to all and you are more than welcome to download them for free. However, we are a small business (it’s our superpower!) so if you’d like to support our patterns initiative, we’re inviting you to pay what you like. We ♡ our sewing community!

Summer is looking bright with our new Peppermint Bardon Dress sewing pattern!

We teamed up with Perth patternmaker extraordinaire Lauren Boyle of Elbe Textiles, to create this beautiful free pattern for you! With a summer-friendly sleeveless bodice, snazzy gathered ties and the absolute feature in our opinion, pockets (hurrah!), this looks-good-on-everyone style is the injection of fun your wardrobe needs. Twirl your way through each and every day!

We’re also so excited to say that our patterns are now created in partnership with Spoonflower! The world’s largest marketplace of independent designs from global artists, Spoonflower is leading the way in custom, sustainable textile printing. Their on-demand process significantly reduces materials, energy and water, with inks that meet Oeko-Tex 100 requirements and fabrics – including a Certified Organic range – that are ethically sourced. Pop over to for inspiration for your next me-made project.

We used the Lightweight Cotton Twill from Spoonflower, printed with a design by Australian illustrator Louise Margaret.

A little note if the pattern appears very small when you open it:

We are aware there is a glitch with the latest version of Illustrator (the design software sometimes used to create patterns) that is making PDFs appear 10x smaller when opened in Preview or Acrobat 1.5 or less. If you are not able to update your Acrobat to 1.6 or higher, then please scale the pattern to 1000%. Sorry for the hassle!

Once you checkout, you should see the links to download on the Thank you page! You’ll also receive an email with your download links – make sure to check your Junk or Spam inboxes if this email does not arrive.
