You’ve heard of a pop-up shop, now meet the pop-out shop! Ties & Whimsy designer Alisa Newey has just launched an innovative new furniture piece, Emerge, designed for use as a screen or room divider. Cleverly concealed flat panels pop and bend into creative shapes, providing space for hanging or displaying clothes, bags or jewellery. Created from recycled timber waste and completely recyclable, Emerge is launching at The EDGE Design Competition as part of Australian International Furniture Fair celebrations. Ideal for small spaces and portable market-style events, Emerge might just be the pop-up shop’s new best friend!
