Made on the Left

While we’re used to seeing market events taking over laneways, community buildings and cafes every other weekend on the east coast, there are plenty of fantastic markets happening all over Australia, even way out in WA! Perth’s Made on the Left markets are back this year, taking over the State Theatre of Western Australia on Sunday, July 29th and transforming it into a mecca for all things handmade. Bringing together independent designers and manufacturers from across the state, everything sold at the market comes with a guarantee – it was either completely handmade by its designer or fully produced in the state. Local fashion, jewellery and toy designers on site include Dizzy Daisy, Novella-Ria and Pop Goes the Weasel, plus many more. What a nice way to share the market love with our western friends!
