The New Fashion Capital

Canberra proves it’s not all about politics by announcing FashFest: a four night showcase of Canberra’s fashion talent to be held May 1st-4th. The festival promises to celebrate and support young, local and established designers through nightly fashion shows, VIP parties, live musical performances and publicity events. FashFest will also showcase sustainable style with eco fashion mainstay PurePod, EDITION by Alice Sutton, MATERIALBYPRODUCT and more. Another local label to keep an eye on is Aperiodic, which aims to overcome trends and create well-crafted, timeless pieces for a slower, more highly-valued system of fashion. To add a final touch of glamour, supermodel (and now Canberran) Anneliese Seubert will be the face of this exciting new fashion event!
