Yesterday’s Academy Awards Red Carpet was dotted with eco fashion glamour, with the star of the show clearly being ‘Bond Girl’ Naomie Harris who donned the winning design from the Red Carpet, Green Dress challenge. Designer Michael Badger, under mentor Vivienne Westwood, created the piece using recycled zippers, organic materials and even old chocolate wrappers! The other starlet in an eco design was Helen Hunt, who wore a H&M dress in honour of their recent partnership with Global Green USA for their new garment recycling program. Interestingly, actress Michelle Williams also chose an eco friendly H&M custom design for her attendance at the recent BAFTA awards.
