Time to get shirty, stitchy pals! Say bonjour to our latest pattern, the beautiful Peppermint Belle Shirt.

Made in collaboration with The Modern Sewing Co’s marvellous Hetty Adams, this beauty offers a twist on traditional shirting tropes with striking details such as a wide placket, straight point collar and bell sleeves. With clean, clever construction, she’s a dream to sew and a joy to wear whether you embrace modern minimalism and whip one up in monochromatic linen, or rock a bold print and make a statement shirt – or dress! That’s right, she contains multitudes, or at least multiple views. The opportunities are endless.

Many thanks to our sewing partner Spoonflower for helping to make our much-loved patterns possible! From wallpaper to fabric to home decor, Spoonflower offers one of the largest Marketplaces of designs from independent artists around the world. They are committed to reducing their carbon footprint and lessening negative impacts as much as possible. They make their products with water-based inks and responsibly sourced materials using their innovative, on-demand printing process. Each order is printed and made in the USA by their team of manufacturing experts. Pop over to spoonflower.com for inspiration for your next me-made project.

We used Spoonflower’s Petal Signature Cotton, printed with a sumptuously textured pattern from Jessica Prout of Little Arrow Design.

This pattern is free with a copy of Issue 59 (both print and digital copies), and the digital downloadable version is available on our website under our ‘pay-what-you-like’ initiative. We can’t wait to see your creations – don’t forget to tag us so we can see your marvellous makes! #PeppermintPatterns #PeppermintBelleShirt
