If you’ve heard of Melbourne textile company Ink & Spindle, you’ll know their prints are pretty darn special. Colours and patterns are inspired by the Aussie bush, with reds, golds, greens and blues in prints like ‘kangaroo paw’, ‘protaeflora’ and ‘leucadendron’, all hand screenprinted on ethically sourced textiles. And now the brand – who are also celebrating their fifth birthday like us! – are offering you the chance to customise your very own designs, choosing from whichever pattern and colour combo your heart desires. Want a curtain in mustard kangaroo paw? Easy. A cushion with silver gum in eucalyptus and moss? Done. The website is beautifully designed (no surprises) and simple to use, so you’ll have your creation ready to fit out your home in no time. If you just can’t seem to make up your mind, their ready-made online shop is already kitted out with a range of fabrics, available by the metre or in bundles, and framed prints in singles or sets. The latest addition is the Landscape Quilt, which comes with a set of instructions, eight assorted fabrics and a binding cloth, so you can assemble it all yourself, easy as pie.
