For the launch of our latest Spring ‘Food for Thought’ issueΒ weΒ decided to throw a little party to celebrate and say a huge thanks to our wonderful contributors and advertisers. Gorgeous vintage homewares store Vieille Branch was the perfect relaxed venue, and its eclectic range of handpicked French treasures gave guests plenty to look at β and covet β over the course of the evening!Β Our Red Hill neighbours (and lunchtime favourites) Botanica Real Food provided a range of their delicious gluten-free quiches, salads and cakes for us to nibble on, and ourΒ thirstΒ was quenched by the beautiful biodynamic wine from AustralianΒ Some Young Punks, as well as drinks from Karma Cola and Buchi Kombucha (both featured in the issue!). We askedΒ the talented Natalie McComas to snap a few pictures for us βΒ see all the details for yourself right here in our Facebook album. βCrafting is something that has come naturally since I was small and I just havenβt stopped. When I was smaller, I was interested in the end result. As Iβve gotten older, I realise itβs the process that keeps me coming back to craft. Itβs a meditative state for me and I find the repetitive action of the stitching and felting quite therapeutic.ββ
