Endless Summer

Ovna Ovich

Already setting your sights on next season’s fashion hits? Antipodean label Ovna Ovich are based over in Auckland, and recently caught our eye at their first runway showcase for Clean Cut. Their next capsule collection, titled Construct, might be cut for summer, but we love the wintry, monotone palette of steely greys and glassy greens. Inspired by juxtapositions between the built environment and human body, designers have penned a new set of digital prints based on ‘freckles and concrete’ for the range of shorts, shirts and simple dresses for both men and women – perfect for trans-seasonal layering if you ask us! Made using eco-friendly materials, water-based dyes and an ethical production chain, Ovna Ovich recently got a nod in the Ethical Fashion Forum’s Source Awards, and are definitely ones to watch out for. It’s never too early to start your summer wishlist – garments from the Construct collection will be available to purchase in time for the warmer weather from boutiques across NZ and online.
