One for the Planet

Earth Day 2013

The 2013 installment of Earth Day, held annually on April 22nd, is just around the corner! There are plenty of ways to get involved – like making a donation, pledging ‘an act of green’, or even becoming a guest blogger to add your voice to climate change discussion. Meanwhile, an easy way to show your support is by participating in the faces of climate change: a growing gallery of people, places and animals affected by climate change being gathered in the build-up to this year’s big day. If you have an image to submit, you can do so online. Then on April 22, an interactive display of the photographs collected will be shown simultaneously at thousands of events across the world, as well as in an online gallery, to highlight not only the problems but the solutions available to fight climate change and promote a healthier future for the planet.
