Fashion at Flinders

Winter is a great time for big coats, woolly jumpers, fancy scarves and cosy mittens. It is not a great time to be sleeping rough, especially across Australia’s chilly southern states. But thanks to Salvos, you can indulge in some quality vintage winter essentials while directly helping the country’s homeless just by shopping at their special Flinders Street Pop Up Shop in Melbourne this Friday, where 100% of proceeds go to The Salvation Army’s important community service work. And if you want to help further, Salvos are still on the hunt for more volunteers for their 213 stores across Australia, and always appreciate your donations of unwanted clothing and goods. But, warns Salvos’ CEO Allen Dewihirst, “if you are going to donate something, please bring it to our stores when they are open so things don’t get stolen or ransacked”. In the meantime, see you down at Flinders Street and let’s help make this Friday the 13th a good luck day for those who need it most!
