Being a responsible and environmentally-minded citizen is much easier on a full stomach. With this in mind, design studio TMOD and Yulli’s restaurant got together to and developed the Veggie Patch Van which brings Sydneysiders delicious vegetarian food in fine enviro-friendly style. The van itself is a perfect visual feast; a converted Winnebago with its own herbed planter-boxes designed to resemble a farm barn, which runs on solar power and vegetable oil. Stepping inside the ‘kitchen on wheels’, the sustainability ethic is prevalent in the produce. You will find organic, locally-produced, seasonally-driven deliciousness, all washed down with exclusively brewed chai ginger beer. Bring on Summer!
