Save the Waves

Parley For The Oceans

As if you needed any more reason to visit Berlin, here’s just one more: from 2-4 July 2013, a huge parley to raise awareness of what we can to protect our oceans will take place in the courtyard of the city’s PREMIUM International Fashion Trade Show, which coincides with Berlin Fashion Week. Parley – For the Oceans is a summit bringing together conservationists with creatives, leaders and thinkers from a range of industries, with the collective aim to encourage participation in projects that can help conserve our oceans. The Parley will discuss possible solutions to the growing threat of plastic waste in the seas, such as retrieving and recycling that waste into new products. The hope is that by combining activism with industry and environmentalism with economics, we can save our seas. For more info, visit their Facebook page here.
