Featuring gorgeous goods from Australian designers, makers and artists, the market has a focus on handmade, ethical and sustainable wares and is the perfect place to pick up a meaningful gift, a special item of clothing or a beautifully designed treasure for your nest. And if you’re feeling a bit peckish, don’t miss the tasty selection of food and beverages from local vendors! Entry is free, and there’ll be plenty of giveaways on the day, including the chance to win $500 worth of gifts and vouchers for e-newsletter subscribers, and also the opportunity to grab $500 worth of gifts for those who register at the Little Sparrow information desk. We also have a couple of lovely prizes from vendors to give away: one cute ceramic cup/planter from Melbourne artist Yiying Lee, and one beautiful linen ‘Frill Seeker’ top from independent label The Wolf and I. Disillusioned by the realities of fast fashion, design grads Emily May and Sidonie Moore ditched clothing for a business that finds fun in the everyday.
