I Heart Handmade

Christmas is only six week away and it might be time to hunt for stocking stuffers. Good news if you live in or around Brisbane because the folks at Reverse Garbage are presenting ‘i heart handmade’, “an exhibition of beautifully crafted art and eco-gifts”, most under $50. In what might be the closest you’ll get to handmade by Santa’s elves, 25 local artists present their work made from with salvaged materials to bring you fine artworks, wall hangings, sculptural items, jewellery, handbags and accessories as well as homewares and the all-essential hand made cards, garlands and gift wrap. Opening night kicks off Saturday November 26 with music and a cash bar from 6-9pm.
