Melbourne-based fashion label Cylk recently got home from Mexico where they were nominated to represent Australia at the 27th International Apparel Convention. Luckily they didn’t return empty handed and now hold claim as the first Australians to win the coveted ‘Best Way of Working With Fabric’ award. Established as a pioneer and innovator of seamless knitting and sustainable yarn development, Cylk submitted three designs from their upcoming collection which uses luxury blends of super fine bamboo, silk, cashmere, linen and modal. The softness of Cylk garments has to be felt to be believed – Melburnians will get to experience it first hand when Cylk opens its first flagship store there early next year.
