From Reality to Repreve

Lauren Conrad proves there is life after reality TV, with the celebrity designer recently launching an eco accessories collection in partnership with lifestyle brand BlueAvocado. Better known as ‘LC’ from well known TV series Laguna Beach and The Hills, Conrad has created XO(eco), a collection of travel, cosmetic and storage bags, made with repreve, a unique recycled yarn. Repreve is actually a versatile family of fibres made from 100% recycled materials, like recycled water bottles. In fact, each product in the XO(eco) line is made up of between 3 and 35 plastic bottles. Even better, BlueAvocado will donate 1% of all sales from its XO(eco) range to ocean preservation and restoration. Conrad says even the name of the collection, inspired by her signature ‘XO’ mark represents a commitment to loveable style for a liveable planet!
