A Nourishing Kitchen

A rising name in Australia’s health and wellbeing circuit, holistic health coach Amy Crawford’s food-as-healing philosophy has struck a chord with many – not least because her recipes serve up nourishment and deliciousness in equally irresistible doses. Well known for her recipe sharing and clean living advice through her website The Holistic Ingredient, Amy’s food journey is about much more than just a change in diet; instead, it is what she believes largely rescued her from a battle with serious illness and a life addicted to stress. After several years exploring and testing this new and much healthier lifestyle, she is now ready to share with the world her first e-Book, A Nourishing Kitchen: a lovingly photographed and self-styled collection of 42 of Amy’s favourite recipes, designed to encourage all of us to incorporate more whole, raw and organic foods into our lives.

However, as Amy is quick to point out, this certainly doesn’t mean the joy and variety in our diets needs to be compromised. Health conscious and restricted eaters will be pleased to find treats such as pizza, hot cakes, mousse and cookies, all reinvented in creative ways to pack extra nutritional punch. All recipes are strictly free of gluten, refined sugar and additives, while Amy’s handy glossary of pantry staples and substitutes makes an excellent resource for those starting down the clean eating path. A Nourishing Kitchen officially launches on Wed, June 5th (with limited pre-sale copies available here), and thanks to Amy we’ve got three copies to give away! To go into the draw, simply like Amy’s page on Facebook here or follow her website, then leave a comment below letting us know what constitutes ‘a nourishing kitchen’ to you! {Competition closes 4pm, Tuesday June 4th. International entries welcome}.
