Eco Fashion Recognised by UN

The lovely Livia Firth, best known for her eco fashion initiatives the Green Carpet Challenge and the The Green Cut, has recently been named a UN Leader for Change 2012. Livia has been recognised for her contributions to the sustainable fashion agenda and for bringing greater industry awareness to ethical practice. To celebrate this achievement, the Green Carpet Challenge will be hosting a sustainable fashion panel in New York City, involving industry leaders including Vogue US and cosmetics giant L’Oreal. It is hoped that this event will be the first of many, involving a range of influential companies coming together to discuss ‘greening’ the fashion industry. In addition to her eco fashion pioneering, this year has also seen Livia launch her own clothing range. Livia truly is the Queen of Green!
