It’s hard to imagine a world without our furry friends and the creature comforts they bring to us. Celebrating the animal kingdom and raising awareness about those in need, Off the Kerb gallery in Melbourne’s Collingwood is hosting an exhibition dedicated to our four-legged friends. Each local and national artist exhibiting in The Truth about Fur and Whiskers takes inspiration from the animal world – portraying anything from the humble tabby to the elusive red fox. Proceeds raised will go to the Lost Dogs and Cats Home, as well as donations of blankets, toys and pet food collected from exhibition visitors. Pop in between October 5 and 19 to check it out.
