We here at Peppermint know the importance of good wardrobe basics, and there is perhaps no basic more important – nor versatile – than the good old LBD (Little Black Dress). Sharing our passion for the LBD is fashion blogger Cheryl Lin of BusinessChic, who challenged herself to wear an uniquely-styled LBD to work every week for a year, playfully accessorised with pieces from her own wardrobe, clever DIYs and a few special extras from local designers. She is now on a mission to turn her LBD Project into a beautiful book, inspiring women to discover the power of what already lies in their closets. Running a campaign through Pozible to fund a limited first print run of 500, she is hoping to get all the funds she needs by February 27th – so jump online ASAP to pre-order your copy. You can also catch Cheryl and learn more at The LBD Project exhibition at Melbourne Central this March as part of the L’Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival (LMFF) Cultural Program.
