The long and the short of it: when it comes to chilling around the house or taking a snooze, comfort comes first with these simple unisex boxer shorts.

With two views, you can choose the fit that suits you! One option features a classic men’s boxer style with traditional exposed elastic, a functional fly and standard leg length. The other view features a shorter leg length, side splits and turnover elastic at the waist. Designed for woven fabrics, the Peppermint Darcy Boxer Shorts will be perfect sewn in cotton, seersucker, voile, rayon, lawn, silks and satins. This pattern was created in collaboration with Susan of Measure Twice Cut Once, a designer and sewing teacher living in Sydney. Grab them now and say hey to this short and sweet sew!

Please note: This pattern was published in 2014 and we are aware how restrictive the sizing is and apologise for this. We hope to be able to update many of the older patterns in the future!

What our sewing community says

Here at Peppermint, we’re passionate about all things craft, creativity and community!

The strands of Peppermint’s DNA are bonded together with buttons and thread. Since our beginnings in 2008, sustainable fashion, either by brands that are working to bring change to the industry or those made by your own two hands, is at our cotton-loving core. We love the undeniable happiness that is woven through the maker community. It’s a tough old world out there at the moment, and anything that brings joy with a side of kindness and connection (and a new creative endeavour) is a good thing indeed. We ♡ our sewing community and hope you ♡ our sewing patterns!
