It’s all hands on deck in Brisbane this month as Bleeding Heart Gallery kicks off its Hands On Brisbane winter craft program. Hot cups of tea and coffee are the order of the day while you join friendly folk to learn new skills like crochet, paper mache and needle felting – all taught by some of the city’s leading names in handmade. There’ll be workshops for the young and young-at-heart, alongside demonstrations, Q&A sessions and enough cute to keep you going all year. Just some of the goodness on offer includes DIY coasters, mini matchbook zines, cake pops, plushies and garlands – plus even workshops to make your own home-brew and dapper elbow patches!
