CERES Community Kitchen

Melburnians will know there’s a lot to love about CERES, the environment park in East Brunswick. There’s organic fruit and veggies on sale at their market; sustainability-related courses and workshops; plants to browse and buy at the permaculture nursery; or for those who just want to relax with coffee and a treat, there’s the Organic Cafe. Adding to the CERES eco-juggernaut is their recently opened Community Kitchen. A registered commercial kitchen, it’s a great space to rent out if you need to bake a batch of cookies for charity, teach people how to create your signature dish, host a hen’s night or simply cook up a feast with more friends than can fit in your own home. Up-to-the-minute equipment, crockery and cutlery are all provided – all you need to bring is the food. Of course, you can make things even easier if you order a box of goodies from the now-carbon-neutral CERES Fair Food – add some cooking buddies and your favourite recipes, and you’ve got the perfect ingredients for a great night (or day) out!
