Homegrown ethical underwear label Nico turned two over the weekend, but also had another reason to celebrate! Just last week, the label picked up a global award for sustainable fashion when it took out the SOURCE Award for best Lingerie or Swimwear label, beating out two UK-based lines, Augustine London and Marion May, in the process. Winners were announced at the House of Lords as part of a celebration which spotlights best practice in the fashion industry. Nico uses sustainably sourced materials, make all of their garments here in Australia, and are the country’s first underwear label to have achieved accreditation with Ethical Clothing Australia. In addition, $2 from every sale before Christmas will be donated to Save The Children’s Syrian Crisis Appeal. Nice one, Nico!
