Hobes x Emily Green

The Emily Green Hobe range

It’s lovely when creative types cross paths. In this case, shoemaker Georgia Hobart of Hobes and jewellery/textile designer Emily Green have teamed up to bring us a limited edition range of – you guessed it! – Emily Green Hobes. The first in a series of collaborations for the Aussie footwear brand, Emily’s Hobes are as bright and cheerful as the jewellery and scarves she is renowned for, and come in three delightful designs – all printed locally in Melbourne on organic cotton by the lovely Frankie & Swiss!

With classic Boat Hobes for both men and women, as well as Sparkler varieties for fancy feet, all Hobes are handmade in ethical conditions under the leadership of an Italian bootmaker, and in winter time, even come lined with cuddly Australian lambswool from Georgia’s family farm! At only 250 grams, the super soft kicks are also a dream to travel with. If you’d like to know more about Georgia, an interview with her also features in the new Conversations With Creative Women V2 by Tess McCabe, launching later this week! Stay tuned for a little giveaway coming up very soon!
