Africa Fashion Guide may be a great resource for keeping up-to-date on the latest fashions to come out of Africa, but it’s their focus on social enterprise and ethical practice that really gets us excited. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be on the other side of the African-based fashion industry (and happen to be in the UK!), the organisation are hosting a series of Fashion Africa Business workshops in London. The intensive four-week program will bring together minds from all facets of the industry, giving participants and design entrepreneurs tips, strategies, tools and resources required to successfully build and grow an African-focused design business based on core practices of environmental sustainability and ethical trade. FAB is happening over four consecutive weeks starting on May 9 at Kings Cross’ The Hub. Places are limited so rush in if you want a spot.
