Make My Day

You might remember clever lass Rachel Burke from when we first featured her stitchy charity project I Make, You Wear It in the pages of Peppermint last year. After sewing a new dress every Saturday night for 20 weeks to raise money for NAPCAN child abuse prevention, Rachel has now upped the stakes with her new venture, I Make My Day. With the goal of raising $10,000 for The Starlight Foundation, Rachel has been quietly amassing all the material scraps, trims and donations she can and is now over two months into her incredible mission to sew a new dress every single day for an entire year. Wow! Check out her blog here to browse, donate and purchase her creations, or just offer some words of support. And as if her project wasn’t wowing us enough, Rachel has also just whipped up a special minty dress that is especially close to our hearts. Scroll down to view more and see if you can pick which one it might be…
