The Peppermint Slouchy Cardi is a knee-length slouchy cardigan, with wrap around collar / hem band and sleeve cuffs. It has a relaxed fit, perfect for autumn or winter layering and has in-seam pockets, for a really casual feel. This exclusive Peppermint pattern was created for us by In The Folds – sew your own to stay comfy and cosy!

One of my favorite things about Spring is that it is still cool enough that I can wear a cardigan. There is something super comforting, almost protective, about an oversized Cardi. The Slouchy Cardi by Peppermint Magazine is exactly that: A cocoon of fabric in the shape of an oversized cardigan. This pattern is a great intro to sewing with knits.

Last night I finished up this #PeppermintSlouchyCardi in wool blend knit from @Homecraft.Textiles This is my second version and I went down one size from my measurements as I wanted this one to be a little less oversized. I love it! Definitely going to get lots of wear. I topstitched the neckband seam allowance on this one, it makes it sit much nicer so worth it.
