We teamed up with Tara Viggo of Paper Theory, a London-based sustainable patternmaker, to create this beautiful pattern for you! Featuring a relaxed midi silhouette, a flattering gathered waistband and oversized ‘just in case’ panel pockets, this staple is the newest arrow in your trans-seasonal dressing quiver. Pair it with a crop, tuck in your favourite tee or layer with tights and trainers for casual park catch-ups or long lunches alike!

I love the pattern so much I made two skirts. It was a very fast and simple sew for me. (Each skirt was finished in under two hours) This skirt is made from a thrifted table linen that I hand dyed over the summer. I also took time to document the process of getting a just right fit! You can find this video on my YouTube channel linked in my bio! If you’ve never made adjustments or alterations to your clothes before this might come in handy for you. What about you? Do you prefer skirts, pants or dresses? I think I’m leaning into my skirt era now.

Here’s at least one reason to look forward to autumn – my new #PeppermintPocketSkirt in this sublime cobalt blue colour.⁣⁣ The skirt is easy and cool, like pretty much everything else designed by Tara Viggo of @Paper_Theory. It’s a super quick make – it took me just a couple of hours, including the pattern assembling. This is the size 14, with 5cm added to the length for my 1.74m frame.⁣⁣ The skirt is designed with linen in mind, but I think it can work well with many other fabrics.⁣⁣ I used this beautifully soft corduroy from @stoffstil ⁣It’s a medium-weight fabric, but still soft enough to drape well.
