Retro to a Tee

David Bowie Tee by ClothesDontCheat

Sure, a song about thrift shopping may have recently been crowned the most popular of the year, but we knew retro was cool way before that! Celebrating that stalwart of pre-loved fashions – the vintage t-shirt – The Salvos‘ inaugural Vintage Tee Day is raising the profile of pre-loved fashions and raising money for their community work in the process. It’s easy to get involved – just sport your best retro tee this Friday, March 22 – or if you haven’t got a favourite yet, then head along to your local Salvos to pick up something special. Now’s the time to take advantage of those plentiful racks and bust out a retro move! {Pictured tee from Etsy here}.
