The Peppermint Boxy Top pattern – also known as the Harvest Top – features a figure-flattering cut with a generous neckline and wide sleeves for maximum comfort, as part of a slip-on style that buttons down the back. Choose a textured raw silk like ours from The Fabric Store, and experiment with reversing your fabric, re-orientating a geometric print or choosing a few contrasting designs to give the front a three-tiered look or to add extra emphasis to the sleeve and bodice detail. Make your own covered buttons from fabric remnants or choose bold, oversized ones to add interest. Tailor-made for in-between autumnal weather, this is a flexible style that can be layered over a simple skivvy or paired with jeans, leggings or a flowing skirt – think outside the box!
