It’s nothing new to see a sheep or two at the Brisbane EKKA, but did you know fashion is also a talking point at the annual show? Alongside the wood chop this year is a revamped wool parade – now expanded to include natural fibres of all kinds. The Commbank Natural Fibres Parade will showcase sustainable textiles like silk, cotton, wool and linen in the designs of Brisbane fashion icon Julie Tengdahl and others. The runway will be playing over a range of dates and times during the show – check out the program and slot a session into your EKKA schedule!
