Ethical Undies

Nico Underwear hasn’t even reached its first birthday but it is already making history! The brand has just become the first Aussie underwear line to be accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia (ECA). Nico joins 75 other accredited homegrown labels, which means that their clothing is made under ethical conditions, where workers receive fair wages and enjoy decent conditions. In addition to being ethically minded, Nico also has a strong environmental focus by sustainably sourcing their materials and making all their garments here at home. Founder of Nico and young Brisbane-based designer, Lis Harvey, says she is excited to give her customers the choice to support an ethically conscious brand. Look out for the ECA logo when buying clothing and footwear, and keep an ear out for more news about Nico – their second collection is due out this month!
