No Place Like Home

Winter sunshine beckons us outdoors, and there’s nothing more satisfying than shaking off those pesky chills with a day in the park. This Saturday the annual Home Festival will once again sprout up in Brisbane’s Raymond Park, offering a host of workshops, markets and general festival fun. Pop down for a tutorial in clothes mending, cooking, drawing or even drumming; check out the Wardrobe Markets, offering all sorts of vintage fashion and bric-a-brac finds; and of course partake in Home Festival’s food, retail and information stalls – all in the vein of sustainable and local living. Big kids and little kids alike, there’s no place like home!
