Shout One For Africa

As the old saying goes, “through the sharing of food we share life and no one is ever lonely or hungry.” This Sunday, October 16th, is World Food Day: your chance to put these words into practice by lending a helping hand to the 13 million people in the Horn of Africa at risk of starvation. Some of Australia’s best chefs and favourite restaurants are behind Oxfam’s Shout the Horn campaign, and you can do your part too by donating the cost of an extra meal when you dine out at a participating restaurant. Or, if you’re staying in for a Sunday roast, you can also host your own Shout the Horn dinner party or just make a donation online to the East Africa Appeal.
