RECIPE: ORANGE AND MACADAMIA THINS

Model Abigail O'Neill recipe: model chocolate

Model and raw chocolate guru Abigail O’Neill is allllll about the kind of tasty treats that nourish both body and soul – and this recipe, which featured in Issue 20 of Peppermint, is the perfect example of that deliciously decadent genre. Enjoy, lovelies!

Ingredients

60g cacao butter, finely chopped

1/4 tsp vanilla powder

1 tbsp organic orange rind, finely grated or 4-6 drops orange essential oil

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

2 tbsps raw dark agave

2 tbsps macadamia butter

1/2 cup whole raw macadamias

1/3 cup raw cacao powder

Method

Melt cacao butter in a glass bowl over boiling water. Remove, and stir in all ingredients to combine. Pour a thin layer of the chocolate mixture onto a flat, foil-lined tray and place in the freezer to set quickly. Once set, this chocolate can be broken into pieces to be stored in an airtight container in the fridge/freezer or served immediately.
