Drive to Revive with Country Road

fashion-trade

Iconic Australian retailer Country Road is once again partnering with the Australian Red Cross for their fantastic Fashion Trade initiative, which asks you to recycle your unwanted threads to reduce landfill. Incredibly, over 60,000 items of clothing have been saved from landfill since Fashion Trade was first launched in 2010 – that’s a whole lot of outfits.

This year, Country Road’s Donate Clothes to Win campaign is asking you to dig out those pieces you just never wear and donate them to Red Cross shops across Australia instead of throwing them away. Even better, doing so could net you a whole new Country Road wardrobe! From 1 to 5 July, you’ll be rewarded with a $10 Fashion Trade voucher for every Country Road item you donate to the Red Cross, which you can put against any Country Road purchase of $50 or more. Anyone who donates Country Road clothing or accessories will also go into the draw to win a $100 Country Road gift card, and five winners will be drawn on each day of the campaign.

“Donate Clothes to Win helps reinforce our focus on environmental and social responsibility,” says Country Road’s Managing Director, Sophie Holt. “It educates our customers on the importance of reducing landfill through recycling, while raising funds for the Red Cross to continue their important work.”

Get ready to go through your wardrobe in time for the campaign’s launch on Tuesday 1 July – the more Country Road pieces you donate, the greater your chance to win, so start rummaging!

Who’s going to the sold out Liberty Fabrics Showcase in Brisbane or Melbourne? 🙋‍♀️

To say we’re excited is an understatement! Maybe we’re biased because our lovely Laura (Sewing Manager) is walking in the fashion parade along with many other incredible sewists in our community, but also - there’s SO many good things: retail stalls featuring exclusive products, rare finds and all things @LibertyFabrics, and sneak peeks at brand-new quilting and fashion collections, including the Liberty Fabrics Spring/Summer ‘Floral Rebellion’ collection.

Also - Liberty legends Mary-Ann Dunkley (Head of Design) and Anna Buruma (ex-Head of Archive) are flying in from London especially!

Keep an eye on our socials this weekend for BTS! 🌸🌼🌺

If you know me irl then you probably know that I only do one take for my reels so enjoy this vid of me saying thousands of words about an exciting collaboration I’m participating in for 2026!

Thanks to the teams @2GreenZebras @Regent_Street_Fabrics and @StyleArc for including me on the runway. I absolutely can’t wait!

Obviously I’ll be hoping for enough scrap fabric to make some kind of accessories…
