Emotional Brilliance

Woot woo! Launching this Saturday, July 21st is a very curious idea: Lush’s Emotional Brilliance range. Using a specialised colour wheel, each “player” (that’s you, dear Minty) chooses three colours that you are drawn to. The first colour chosen symbolises your strength or weakness, the second your subconscious need, and the third is your talent (which you require to achieve your subconscious need). The colours are linked to certain words to help you understand the colour’s meaning.

Head in a spin? Don’t worry, it is pretty simple once the wheel is in front of you – just spin and choose! Once you have your three colours/words (your words of power!) you can totter off to the new cosmetics counter to collect your choice of three different coloured cosmetics (Lush’s funky new range of vegan lip colours, eyeliners and eyeshadows – which, we should just add, feature recycled bottles and bottle tops, minimal preservatives and plenty of stellar secret ingredients like wheatgrass). There is a deeper psychology behind this, as well as being a bunch of fun. Because words and colours have power, the Emotional Brilliance range helps you tap into what you need most when you wear the cosmetic attached to the word – giving you strength in that area when you need it. So, take a gamble – grab your gal pals and spin that wheel!
