“I usually make a Christmas village out of milk or juice cartons, but this year we didn’t save up enough. So I gathered all the soft cardboard like cereal and pancake boxes to make this Christmas village tree collar instead.
I cut the smaller pieces off the boxes and painted the back white just so none of the labels were visible then I drew a little village scene using a white paint marker.
Cut out some of the little windows.
glued the pieces together added some twinkle lights to the back just so it would give it more of a glow and put it around my tree.”

“Upcycled Coiled Fabric Vessel in 1 minute.

1 minute or several days😅? Well, in truth I stitched and unstitched this fabric vessel countless times because never happy with the shape, and and the end it looks like a beehive instead of an elegant vase but still ...this small size shouldn’t take so long!
And it’s coiled week. It was exactly two Summer ago when I was hooked by this incredible craft technique: slow, eco-friendly and even useful.
This technique is called coiled fabric and if you like to learn the basics, to make useful stuff such as baskets, vessel, placemats, or jewels, from start to finish, out of fabric leftovers, I wrote an e-book, with hours of instructional videos with my ‘lovely’ Italian accent and step by step photos.”
