There’s a lot to wrap your palette around at this year’s Crave Sydney International Food Festival which launched on October 1st. Running all month, there are plenty of events happening around the city for locavores, the sustainably-minded and food-loving folk in general! If you have a taste for adventure, book yourself in for an Urban Food Safari through Potts Point, finishing with a meal at café DOV made from the goodies you collect from urban producers along the way. Self-confessed fiends of yesterday’s dinner, take solace in Loving Leftovers with OzHarvest’s Ronni Kahn and food waste expert Richard Fox. Join in a discussion of organic produce with Taigen Heath at Sydney Sustainable Markets on Saturday the 27th, and enjoy a 160km-lunch or dinner all month round with 100 Mile Meals. If that isn’t enough to sate your tastebuds, why not try your hand at a beekeeping or bush tucker workshop? We certainly have our plates full! Visit Crave Sydney for the full program.
