I love my mum. She’s taught me so many things that are valuable in life: to love, care, give and forgive. She always puts the needs of me and my brothers and sisters before herself. I will always remember the day both of us went for brunch. A day just for two of us. It was a small event but I will always remember it forever. And the time we bought a whole bag of popcorn and watched ‘I dream of Jeannie’ for hours just laughing our heads off. All these things, small but in my memory forever.

I will always think of my mum as the most selfless and beautiful woman I know. It makes me feel horrible that I only realised this a few years ago. When I was a nasty & selfish teenager she put up with me, loved me unconditionally and forgave me. She is so inspiring to me now and I admire her qualities. I want to be just like my mum, something I never imagined myself wanting a few years ago.

My mum is such a joyous, happy person! not only does she touch my life, but she touches the lives of her students as well. My mum is a librarian at a special needs school and some great memories I have of her are doing great impersonations of pirates, princesses and even Mr.G from Summer Heights High (yes, she has the big sheet he has aswell)to make library lessons special. She makes everyone laugh with her vibrant personality and I love her.
